2012 Shows Increase in Nursing Home Satisfaction Rates

Salt Lake City, Utah, March 1, 2013 - Pinnacle Quality Insight (http://www.pinnacleqi.com), Pinnacle Quality Insight has released its 2012 findings regarding customer satisfaction levels in U.S. Skilled Nursing Facilities.

The percentage of residents and family members willing to recommend their nursing facility jumped from 86.3% in 2011 to 87.0% in 2012.

The American Health Care Association has a goal to improve the number of customers willing to recommend their facility to 90% by March of 2015. The increase in 2012 represents a step in the right direction.

"The overall increase of customers willing to recommend their care provider is exciting. Over the last five years, that percentage has increased every single year. It's a testament to the quality of the care givers in each home, and demonstrates the commitment of the profession's leadership to continually improve." says Stan Magleby, CEO of Pinnacle.
