Pinnacle Quality Insight Announces 2022 Customer Experience Awards

Pinnacle Quality Insight announced the winners of the Customer Experience Awards on January 27, 2022, recognizing senior living and senior care organizations that not only survived but thrived in 2021.

Only the top 15 percent of senior living and senior care locations received Customer Experience Awards from Pinnacle Quality Insight. Rather than relying on self-reporting from these organizations, Pinnacle bases the awards on empirical data collected from over 150,000 surveys in 2021.

Categories vary by provider type, including skilled nursing, rehabilitation, assisted and independent living communities, hospice, home health agencies, and intermediate care facilities for the developmentally disabled (ICF/DD). Pinnacle measures them on up to fifteen dimensions. Some of these are unique, such as professional therapy services, volunteer services, and transportation needs. Others are universal, like treatment and dignity, response to problems, and communication. Taken as a whole, they represent the quality of service delivered to customers and their families.

“I find incredible inspiration in these facilities and communities,” said Chris Magleby, CEO of Pinnacle Quality Insight. “We’re all looking for good news right now, and they are an example of excellence through difficult times.”

For Pinnacle, the awards are a way to recognize organizations who embody Pinnacle’s number one value. Emblazoned on their office wall, featured on its website, and mentioned in every company meeting are the words “People are our purpose.”

“We established the Customer Experience Awards as an extension of ‘People are our purpose,’” Magleby explained. “It’s important to celebrate providers who embody that value.”

A list of award winners for 2022 and years past can be found on the Pinnacle Quality Insight website.
