Salt Lake City, Utah, November 4, 2011 - Pinnacle Quality Insight (http://www.pinnacleqi.com), Earlier this morning, Pinnacle Quality Insight, a customer satisfaction measurement firm, released new data regarding the national satisfaction levels among nursing home residents.
After collecting data through the first 3 quarters of 2011, Pinnacle announced that the satisfaction levels of those receiving care in nursing homes has increased since 2010.
In 2011, 86.2% of respondents were willing to recommend their nursing home to others. This figure is up from 85.9% in 2010 and 85.0% in 2009.
"Over the past two years, we have seen a shift in attitudes from care providers. They are more concerned about resident-centered care. The positive effect of this shift is evident in the increased satisfaction scores," said Stan Magleby, CEO of Pinnacle.
